Why Tillume Master Series Isn’t an Upgrade – It’s a SUNLIGHT REVOLUTION!

TILLUME Master series is a product line based on the Expert series that upgrades the COB LED and heat dissipation performance.

Maintaining the basic characteristics of Expert, the entire Master series of products are equipped with full-spectrum COB, the color rendering index is improved from CRI90 to CRI95(Dimmable, 2200-6500K can reach CRI98), and the spectrum fits the solar spectrum, which is more eye-friendly. The specifications of heat-sensitive materials have been upgraded to ensure higher reliability and luminous efficiency. Now Let's dive into the specifics of the spot module design.

Tunable White Spot Module 8W+8W Unboxing

The front panel features a high resolution spot photo. The brand logo is positioned at the top-left corner. Product QR code are displaced at the bottom. You can scan this QR code to connect TILLUME shop directly to know more details.

The rear side lists product dimensions and simple technical specification (e.g., Lumen/ Color Temperature/ CRI, Wattage, beam angle)

 

The left and right panels utilize minimalist layouts. It mainly shows engergy saving label and manufacturer contact information.

The top surface includes specification QR code, you can get a detailed introduction about this spot from TILLUME document library, which provide you with full life cycle knowledge support related to TILLUME products. 

When you open the top panels, you could see the wire connection identification.

The base panel carries compliance markings (CE): All TILLUME product are produced according to CE standards.

The package includes a black tunable white spot. Now we will make a detailed introduction.

The spot adopts premium 6063 aluminium alloy materials in fin design, which increases the heat dissipation area. The entire series of radiators use black coating anodizing technology to improve the thermal radiation coefficient and have higher heat dissipation performance.

The spots are produced according to CE standards.

The spots optimized silicone multi-strand wire, UL3239 certified ,with a length of 150mm, stays flexible at low/high temps, resisting cracks during installation or vibrations. 

18AWG delivers high-current performance (up to ~10A*) for reliable power transfer in demanding applications. Also it Survives 200℃ environments (standard wires is 105℃). Meanwhile it withstands 3000V DC voltage, eliminating arc/short risks in high-power circuits.

Now we will start to breakdown the spot.

Optical Components

Aluminium ring feels smooth and textured.

Optical Glass adopts automotive grade tempered glass, with a pass rate of up to 92% is used as the front cover, which is more stable in long-term use and prevents color shift.

1090 Aluminium Reflector,  aluminum content ≥ 99.9%, light output efficiency 92%, Uses the aluminum spinning process with a relatively complicated manufacturing process, which can not only reduce the occurrence of glare. At the same time, when used for a long time, the metal material itself will not turn yellow like the plastic material, which will change the light color.

COB LED

Customized LED COB, sufficient design margin. Supports a maximum power input of 40W.19*19mm light-emitting surface, larger than the normal chip. Multi-channel COB, using flip-chip LEDs to reduce heat transfer paths and provide more reliable performance.

The LED chip on a 95% aluminum substrate from German Alanod,  use 99.99% pure gold as leds bonding wire, with higher thermal conductivity and thermal reliability.

Each COB is checked by automated machine to ensure the consistency of light color and electrical performance.  

Circuit Board Breackdown

Here you can see inside PCB.

Thickness is 2.0 mm. Twice than normal. Usually normal is 1.0mm, even if is 0.7mm or 0.8mm. So upgraded PCB board to ensure higher reliability and luminous efficiency.


Built-in perfect protection circuit, more reliable performance. Adopt Tantalum Capacitors, which is used in mobile phone mainboard, can filter out peak voltages, making the voltage entering the lamp more stable. Although voltage is 24V, the dim method is PWM, so peak voltage cannot be avoided.
