When buying LED recessed spotlights, choose TILLUME Module System

TILLUME Module LED recessed spotlight adopts modular design. The structure is compact and easy to install. Different from the integrated LED recessed lights, its replaceability is its biggest advantage. We know that electronic products have a certain service life, but after the LED fails, you only need to buy a new LED light source to replace it without dismantling the entire lamp. It is not only simple and practical but also avoids unnecessary waste. The aluminum alloy lamp housing is very durable and will not rust. It can be used for a long time. Even if you want to renovate it later, these recessed lamp housings can be reused.

If we want to upgrade the lighting from regular single-color temperature lighting to dimmable lighting, or Tunable White, RGBW, or D2W, it is very easy. You only need to choose a new light source and use it with a suitable controller, and the transformation is done. It can be done immediately.

TILLUME modular, recessed ceiling light, designed as GU10 size, which means that if you don't choose our module in the future, you don't have to worry about purchasing LED light sources. You can purchase any LED GU10 from the market and you can complete the replacement.

Installation of recessed spotlights

To install TILLUME LED ceiling recessed spotlights, you only need a drill bit to make holes in the ceiling. Our mounting hole diameter is designed to be 68mm. This opening size is very conventional and common and is consistent with the openings of most recessed spotlights on the market. The input wire of the spotlight is made of 0.75mm2 AWG18 silicone wire. Its softness makes it very easy to install. It is paired with terminal blocks to make wiring very easy. At the same time, we also provide recessed spotlights with IP44 waterproof rating, which can be installed in bathrooms and other places that need to be protected from splashing water.

If you have a CV PWM LED controller, such as KNX MDT AKD series, MEAN WELL HLG series, or Luatone DALI constant voltage controller, you only need to connect the wires to complete the installation of the smart lighting system.

Choose the color and shape of recessed ceiling spotlights

There is no uniform standard for the choice of style and color, it depends on everyone's preference and the style of the ceiling. Our recessed shells are available in square, round, and the basic colors are black and white. The conservative solution is to choose white because Generally, the color of the ceiling is white, so that the ceiling light can be well integrated into your ceiling, which is very practical and classic. If you think this configuration looks too monotonous, then black recessed spotlights would be a good choice. Of course, if there are too many spotlights installed on the ceiling, the all-black style may not look good, so choosing our black and white recessed spotlights will be a good match.

Corresponding to the mainstream LED intelligent controllers on the market, the 24V constant voltage solution can be used to reduce the number of nodes in the KNX and DALI systems and reduce the cost of the overall system. Supports 1%-100% PWM dimming. In addition, we specially designed an LED drive circuit for constant voltage systems, which has overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent and overtemperature protection functions. At the same time, it can very well solve the problem of brightness inconsistency caused by voltage drop in low-voltage systems. It can keep constant current output within the voltage range of 23-26V.
